Founded in October 1954, Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine (Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of traditional Chinese Medicine) is one of the first provincial hospitals of traditional Chinese medicine in China. Ye Juquan, the first president of the hospital, is a member of the academic department of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Over the past 60 years since its establishment, the hospital has been working hard for several generations, persisting in taking traditional Chinese medicine as the foundation, highlighting the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine, bringing together a group of Chinese medicine masters and famous doctors.
